RACE TO RESCUE.

British Ship Burning at Sea Press Association —Copyright. Honolulu, March 14. The cruiser Louisville raced 35C miles in less than 12 hours and rescued eight passengers adrift in lifeboats. They were from the burning British ship Silverlarch. The crew of forty remain; d : board the Silverlarch to continue the battle against the flames in the hold in the hope of bringing the vessel to Honolulu. They will be aided with a coast-guard-cutter, which with four destroyers also made full steam to the scene.
