SAVED RADEK.
Sensational Disclosures Now Made. i London, February 8. Important State documents, which if published would implicate Stalin and other Soviet ’eaders, are now believed to have saved Karl Radek from the sentence of death passed on his fellow accused in Moscow last week. Radek deposited these documents a year ago with Trotskyists abroad, as- a “life insurance.” He instructed their holders that if he should fall a victim to Stahlin’s purge, the papers should be published. After his arrest he informed the authorities of hiscoup, and knew theft his life at least was safe.
