WAZIRISTAN CAMPAIGN.
PEACE NEGOTIATIONS

Delhi, Feb. 17. In connection with the Mahsud campaign an accident occurred on the 13th inst. A tower in Kotkai collapsed, killing 14 Indian rankers and injuring seven.
The Mahsuds held a jirgah at Karnigan on the 14th inst. "All sections are reported to be in favour of peace. A letter has been sent asking for the suspension of bombing, and stating that rifles and tribal security for the maintenance of peace will be brought into the lines within a few days. Captured rilies will be surrendered within" threemonths.
