The steamers "Waitomo. and Opihi, from Calcutta to Jsew Zealand, via Newcastle, are now on the Australian coast. ,
The Nikau sails for Wellington direct .at 7 o'clock this evening.
The Kaitoa leaves Wellington for Nelson at 5 p.m. to-day, .will arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail on return irip for Wellington direct at 7 p.m The Kaito.i makes a trip to and from Motueka, to-morrow, leaving here at 7 a.m., and returning same tide. The Regulus left Westport last evening for Picton direct. The Waimea left Greymouth last night for New Plymouth direct.
Alexander leaves Wellington for jNTelson to-morrow,' and j>roceecls from here to West Coast ports; on Monday at--11 a.m. .. , .
The Koi makes a trip to and from ■Motueka to-day, leaving here at 10.30 a.m., and returning same tide. The Hina sails for Golden Bay ports at 3-p.m. to-day. The Wairoa sa"ils for Takaka and Collingwood at 3.30 p.m. on Sunday.
