TROUBLE IN HOTEL.
LICENSEE FATALLY INJURED

Auckland, Dec. 16. As a result of a disturbance which occurred in the Clarendon Hotel after m'dniSt -last night, the licensee of the hotel was taken to the Hospital at about 1 o'clock this frmng^ from concussion of the brain and.a broken iaw, and two young men, Harold 1> A Stapleton (21) and Alexander Coppel (20? were placed under arrest on a charge of assault. me licensee, whose .name was Fg nk Brazier subsequently died in tlxe.uo.fr piS and further developments are given T>y the young njon. indicates that Bra,ier>s + njurjr was the result'of a struggle in the dark in one S tie rooms of the hotel.
