The Governor-General and suite- arrived from lleefton last night, and were welcomed (by the Mayor on behalt of the citizens. The official welcome took place at the Town Hall this morning, when there was a large at-tendance. A luncheon was tendered to His, Excellency. The Governor-General, in the course of his speeches, referred to the great resources and possibilities ot the.
