The monthly meeting of the Moutere Fruitgrowers' AssoCiauon was held at the Jubilee Hail, Lower Moutere, on No/ember 28th. , In the absence of the president (Mr it.. Correspondence -was cunsiuered fioxn the iNew Zealaiid I^ruicgi-owers' federation regarding a numbur of matters 3 from Mr lieuzies, lasmaii, as to tne need for a horticultural area in tne MouterG Hills district j and from Mr 1. iLuuiKer regarding the use of acetic acid for vinegar. On the motion of Mr C. Mackay, seconded by Mr A. Everett, it was resolved that the application for a horticultural area in tn_ xvioutere iriiits casinco be endorsed, but with the substitution of tiie word "Moutere" district for "Moutere Hills" district. Somp discussion took place regarding the proposed organisation of fruitgrower, in the Nelson district by the Federation, and it was left to the secretary to call a special meeting to consider the matter if necessary. It was further resolved that the Decomber meeting, which would fail on election day, be not held. It was also resolved that the secretary should communicate with the Health Department and tho Prime Minister regarding the use of acetic acid as vinegar. The secretary (Mr C. Mackay) gave a short account of the annual meeting of the Nelson Provincial Fruitgrowers' Council, at which he attended as a delegate. ______________________ I
