HAYWARD'S PICTURES.
WOMAN
"Woman/ Maurice Tourncur's screen masterpiece, heading the bill at Hayward's to-night, is a worthy product of the genius of the producer of "'The Blue Bird," "The Wiiip," and "Sporting Life." It is entrancing to the eye and beguiling to the thoughts and sentiment:-, and hires tho spectator into a stato of dreamy forgetfulness. Hundreds of actors arc engaged and cspeciailv in the Re-man scenes, the picture -\s a pageant of unusual splendour. The magnificent- aspect of the life of the Roman decadents is pictured. Dealing with woman's influence for good and evil through six episodic periods, in each of which a different star is featured it proves more than a. picture: it is a human document. Steeped in poetry and imagination, those episodes of Jiistory and tradition are set out on a scale of grandeur.
