REGULATIONS GAZETTED. Regulations dealing with the proposed manufacture of standardised boots have been gazetted. Boots manufactured according to the r specifications and samples of the Board of Trade are to be branded witn the :).:u-k ..\ 'A. Board of Irade," and with the maximum retail price fixed by the board. • Licenses to manufacture boots under the regulations may be issued by the board, subject to such, conditions as it thinks fit to impose > and every licensee must mark all boots manufactured by him under his license in such a way as to identify them as being of his manufacture. Penalties are prescribed for various offences, including the use by other flian licensed persons of the board's^mark, or the use by licensees of the marlt on boots not complying with the board's specifications.
