SPEECH BY SIR AUCKLAND GEDDES.
[Australian and N.Z. Cable Association)
London, Oct. 14. Sir Auckland Geddes, speaking in London, said ho was convinced that we had power to increase the overseas trade beyond what it had ever been. The world was crying for goods, and teh sources of supply were not numerous If we were to increase our export trade there must be a very great chancre in the development of indtistry. He did not suggest Government inter* ference, because the more the Government kept out the better provided the men funning business took a big view and saw beyond their own immediate interests.
