ENGLISH DOCK CONGESTION.

UTILISATION OF MOTOR TRANS-

PORT

London, Oct. 14. A* .an outcome of the strike, the Ministry of Transport has completed a scheme to utilise motor lorries to retlieve congestion in the dock* at London, Liverpool, Manchester., Bristol, Cardiff, and Hull. Committees have been created at these points to carry out the scheme. Lorries will be at the service of existing railway companies and private haulage contractors under a committee of supervision.
