CINEMA EXHIBITORS.
AN INDEPENDENT ASSOCIATION. flsNsx»lXi Press Assoet.vnoM.; Weliington, Oct. 15. A conference of independent moving picture exhibitors was held to-night. It was decided to form art association entitled the independent Association of Motion Picture Exhibitors and Theatre Proprietors. The following- provisional executive was appointed •—-Wellington, Messrs A. M. Pickford and G. L. Johnson; Hawke's Bay, Messrs P. G. Murdoch and Thompson, Wanganui, Mr W. R. Groon; Auckland, Messrs A. Cox and G. Alexander; Canterbury, Messrs C. Yen don and R. Cleland; Manawatu, Mr T I<\ Fitzgerald. A motion was passed favouring the resumption of pre-epidemic hours in the case, of continuous picture houses.
