-«» MURCHISONNPEACE CELEBRATIONS. (To the Editor of "The Colonist."'. Sir,—On looking through "ThtColonist" dated 24th 'insb., I noticed that a correspondent from Murchison wrote ro peace day. Lie mentioned that the committee had a considerable sum of money in hand. We would like ,to know if that included the money 'they charged our returned soldiers on | Monday for pictures and the dance. If 'it was not for tho men and boys who jwent to help fight for us we-would not j have had a peace day.—l am, etc., SURPRISED AND DISGUSTED. Murchison, July 26.
