'■■ The hockey matches were continued on Saturday before a large gathering of ■' spectators. The Schoolboy Championship was commenced, and a very-good game was played between Central A and Stoke School teams. The town team proved the stronger on the day, and won by 3 goals to 1. Burt played a very good game. The match of the day was Nelson v. Wai-mai A. These two teams are in the lead, and Nelson had not been beaten this season.
