lAustralian and N.Z. Cable Association)
(Received July 27, 11.5 p.m.) Geneva, July 22. A Swiss banker estimates that seventeen hundred millions worth of scrip belonging to Germans, including the Kaiser, and four hundred millions worth belonging to Austrians, was lodged in Switzerland during the war, with a view of evading heavy post-war taxation. It is expected that Austria and Germany will introduce laws declaring the scrip valueless unless it ia newly stamped.
