Amsterdam, July 25. There have been remarkable military demonstrations at Berlin during the past two days, which suggest that a reactionary coup is imminent. The Iron Division marched in with banners flying, and halted at the Bismarck Monument and played the Kaiser's Hymn. The similarity of the military demonstrations throughout the country indicates the growth of the counterrevolutionary movement.

The "Cologne Gazette" states that the Government is issuing a prospectus of a forced 2 per cent, loan of £10,000,----000,000. . Siemens Brothers dismissed 10,000 men 'who refused to work owing to the dismissal of their leaders for organising a general strike on the 21st.
