AKDRESS BY MR. H. E. HOLLAND M.P. At the Empire Theatre last evening, . under the auspices of the New Zealand Labour Party, Mr H. E.Holland, M.P. tor Grey, delivered an "address entitled Labour's Aims and Ideals." Mr C. H. Batcheicr presided, and announced that this was the first- of a series of lectures to be held in Nelson, particulars of which would be advertised later. Ur j Holland concluded with a.vigorous ap--1 peal to his hearers to join with the Labour Party in the, forthcoming election tor the purpose of defeating the Na- ' tional Government. The speaker was repeatedly applauded by the large audience during the course of at^o hours' ; address, and resumed his seat amidst prolonged applause.
