(Received May 18, 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, May 17. For the A.J.C meeting to-day the v/eather was wet and the going heavy. The attendance was poor. The results were as follows: — First Hurdles: Lord Nagar 1, Gladful 2, Mountwood 3. Nine started. Won easily by twelve lengths.- Time 3.58. Autumn Stakes: Poitrel 1, Kenneactuahair 2, Fortune Hunter 3. Twelve started, including SnuT> and Arch. Marella. Won easily by four lengths; time 2.42. Don caster Handicap: Hem (McNamara) 6.7, 1; Greenstead (Connel), 9.3, 2; King's Word (Orrell), 7.5, 3. There were 23 starters. Publican and King's ■Word were the. first away. Hem quickly went to the front from King's Word", Sanbee, Greenstead, and Dick MeagJier. After that Hem was never troubled, and won by six lengths,' King's. Word half a length away.
