SALARIES INCREASED AT CHRIST
CHURCH

Christchurch, April 29. The Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, at to-day's meeting made general increases in wages and salaries of the members of its staff. The board decided to protest to the Government and local members of Parliament against the inadequacy of the Government subsidy, and to send a deputation on the subject to Parliament next session.
