GAS DEPARTMENT EARNINGS.

Buy—Permit me to correct an errct appearing in your report of my meetine at the Oddfellows' Hall on Monday. ' 1 am reported to have said that a forec^Bfc had foeen made that the gas holder would pay for itself in five years, and this while the city was losing £2500 OJ6 j unaccounted-for gas.
