a i. i. VVhangarei, AprU 29. A bushman named John O'Neill, aged dd, committed -suicide in the lavatory of the Metropolitan Hotel this afternoon. He obtained a loan of £1 from the licensee, and after having a sarsapanlla and lemonade said.he was going to his room to take medicine A tew minutes later, he was found with his threoat .cut." : The* deceased's brother, was also staying at the hotel.
