T^ten Strikers number upwards of A proclamation announces that the strikers will have no food, while men working 7$ hours a day will get more than other people. . A strike has begun at Wurtemburg. A counter-strike is reported at Stuttgart, • where the post and telegraphs and railways have been closed. The Frankfort riot was due to scarcity of food. The populace looted the stocks.
