A BIG BATTLE

(Received-April 11, 7.55 pirn.) Copenhagen, April 8. Lettish headquarters announce a big battle between Letts and Bolsheviki near Schlock. The latter were repulsed. An attempt by-the'Bolsheviki to capture- Mitau also failed. These attacks are believed to herald the beginning of a great Bolshevist offensive against Lettland. and Lithuania. \
