vh »i t, i • Paris» A Pril Blhe Bolsheviki occupied Ghimerinka important junction on the lines to iueif, Tarnopol and Odessa, cutting off-the .Ukraine from Galicia and threatening Proskuroff, Kamenetz and Podolia. The population of the whole area are in consternation. A large section of the Jewish organisations joined the Bolsheyiki. There are indications that the Government of Petlura and the Ukrainian army, which, despite numerical inferiority \ has been fighting ceaselessly for the past three months, will booh reach the cn n ? f their resources and be compelled to seek refuge as far as possible fromGalicia. The Bolsheviki will then reach the new Roumanian frontier on the Dniester.
