MILD CASES ON THE TARAWERA.

Timaru, April H. The Tarawera arrived this morning Jrom the Bluff and Oamaru to load for Auckland.". There are two cases of influenza among the crew, a steward and a sailor. The vessel anchored out and the Health Officer, Dr. Talbot, found the patients were suffering from slight attacks of influenza and ordered their removal to Timaxu Hospital, and the Tarawera sailed at 12.30 p.m. for Lytteltbia for quarantine. While the steamer was in Oamaru yesterday, one of the engine-room staff •with a mild attack was removed to the Oamaru Hospital.
