V London, April 7. The trial of Colonel Rutherford for the murder of Major Seton is proceeding. Rutherford pleaded not guilty. •The Attorney-General, prosecuting, advanced the theory that Rutherford knew Seton was staying at Holland Park by intercepting a letter to his wife from the deceased. This letter was burned after the tragedy.
