VOTES FOR CONTINUANCE AND PROHIBITION.
At the general election in 1914 a poll was taken, for the first time on the question of national prohibition, in addition to the local option, poll. The national prohibition poll resulted in 254,442 votes being recorded for1 continuance and 247,217 for Prohibition. Details of the voting were as follows:— LICENSE DISTRICTS!
