("The Times.")
™ London, March 29. w^di?^ Aof Ufa <?uts off the Fifth Bolshevist Army, which is belieyed to be surrounded and not left a loophole of escape. Other Government successes have pushed the defence from Urals fifty miles, and are likely _to destroy the tvhole Bolshevist oirensive. . ..,
Koltehak has an excellent stiffening of British battalions and vplentiful sut£ plies of stores, arms and ammunition are pouring into Siberia. The army is splendidly equipped. The Bolsheviki admit that their expulfion from the Don basin and the Urals is disastrous, as they depended on these regions for the bulk of their cereal and coal supplies.
