SUBURBAN TRAMS HELD UP.
(Received April 9, 10.10 p.m.) Melbourne, April 9. The police are baffted by the exploits of an armed masked gang, who are holding up trams in the suburbs, relieving the conductors of their cash, and using violence and shooting where they are resisted.. The gang operates in a different locality each night.
