Little-Madge Evans us as winsome Si • «™g t^ 1 as el e? ,in the World film '^Wanted, a Mother," to be screened at the Empire \ Theatre tonight. She takes the part of Eileen who is-left motherless. Her father is Dr. Homer, the part being taken by George Macquarrie. He fails to realise that the child needs his care'and leaves her to the governess to rear. One night Eileen in her sleep wanders from home, and is found by Guisseppe, who is distraught through the loss of his little son. He thinks Eileen is sent to him from Heaven to console him, and in superstitious mood takes her home. Next morning she escapes to the roof of the tenement while Guisseppe is out to get some breakfast for her. In descending the fire escape she falls and is hurt. -'An -ambulance takes her to the hospital, where her father is chief surgeon, and she is there operated on by a lady doctor. Thelma Winter, who has been associated for some time with ■Dr. Homer. After a period of suspense she is pronounced out of; danger. The recounting further will spoil a very pretty; ending. The whole picture is produced in first-clasj^. style, arid those who have not yej seen wonderful little Madge Evan^ should take this opportunity ,of doing So. Those who have already, seen her need no such advice as they will certainly go. '.
