April 7. The difficulty It the Roslyn Woollen Mills has apparently reached an acute stage. In the beginning twelve ' men and two boys left their employment as a protest against the decision of the management to employ a new sub-fore-man A mass meeting of mill hands on Saturday night unanimously decided that negotiations for a settlement be opened up. fa also resolved, with one dissentient, in favour of supporting the hands who are out.
