The remarkably successful stajro-play "Kick In, to be shown at the Empire Theatre to-day, has been converted into a motion-drama by P.ithe, and proves to be as diverting and stirring in tliis form as in the orismil. When he meets Molly Cary, the role taken by Mollie King, he says, ."from now on I j go straight." And so he does. But i ! fate attempts by every mea.'s unapmable to pull him back to tha ->ld life. A terrible coniplication arises vjion his palj trying to escape the police and badly wounded, seeks ref'i.}. re in his flat. The pal has stolen property onj him, and Molly.'s brother, who .is a drug fiend, steals the jeM-ellery from the fugitive. The pal"'litig«rs a .'while and then dies, so that "Molly s reformed husband is in ths awful plight of having Ixer brother to shield, stolen property on. the premises, at'd a...dead H:an whose presence he can) it explain.
