(Received Feb. 23, 5.5 p.m.) London, Feb. 20. The influenza epidemic is spreading. There were 262 ;deaths from influenza and pneumonia/at Glasgow last week, and 46 in London. The firemen are suffering.

Twenty people collapsed in the London streets yesterday, and were taken to hospital.

Five children died in one family at Worcester on the same day, and the parents and two remaining children are all in bed, victims of influenza.
