ITALY'S DEMiANDS

PROPOSED DIVISION OF THE

BANAT.

SERBIA AND BULGARIA

Paris, Feb. 20. It is reported that Italy strongly demands Finme. Possibly the Cabinet Avill resign if this is not conceded.

It is believed that the Banat question will be solved by Serbia taking the agricultural portion, leaving Rouniania Avith the mountainous mineral area. It was found that there were historic and economic grounds for the division.

The Labour Commission agreed that two Government delegates from each State, as Avell as one representing the employers and one-the workers, should attend the labour conferences, each having a vote.

The Serbians desire a rectification of the Bulgarian frontier, which will repay them for the injustice done by the Berlin Congress of 1878.

Italy refused to eirertain Serbia's appeal to President "Wilson to arbitrate. Therefore the methods hitherto applied to territorial problems will he continued.
