SUBURBAN NORTH

Iho monthly meeting of the Suburan North Road Board was held on the 14th mst. The following members were present: Messrs J. Corder (chairt^WV i- D°dson (^easui-er), A. Stagg ij. v. Weller was excused from attendance.

llie overseer's report of work done and hi progress during the last month was read. He reported that the removal of large stones from the lord in the Upper Teal Valley was completed. The road leading to Biff Flat had been put in order by repairing cut-' vert, clearing water-table, removing stones and general repair work The sharp turn near .Close's Ford had been taken off, and the log had again been placed in position on the lower side c i the ford. Very little work had been i done on Cable Bay road, which will require a fair amount of metal patc-hiii'>-before the coming winter. There was a good improvement on the Wangamoa road since his last visit, the dayman doing a fair amount of metal patching ] and . clearing of wntertables. especially i at the lower end.
