HAYWARD'S PICTURES;
"THE GOWN OF DESTINY."
The idea of "The Gown of Destiny," a Triangle feature to be shown.to-night ay, Hayward's, was a brilliant inspiration. There are fully, half a dozen aspects to the story, and it is equally interesting from all of them, except one. Ih'at one is the love aspect, which is, of course, of special interest. The cast is a strong one, including as it does Alma Rubens, Lillian West, and J. Barney Sherry, while Hen-era Teiedue is admirably suited to the role of the man who Avas"jeered at because ho was too afraid to enlist, and was 7"laughed at when he did enlist because of his slight j physique. By profession he wa« p, designer of gowus, and after being jfl|ectcd for military service he dreamea of a , wonderful design. In due course a loowii was made according to it, and jwhile the designer was lamenting the fact that lie was unable to serve his 'beloved country, France, tiuTgbwn went its fateful wwar,} r, working "unsuspected miracles, all to the benefit of the designer's country. Another instalment o? "The-Mystery of the Double Cross" will also be shown, together with the latest gazettes, etc.
