At the conference of Commonwealth and State Ministers, Mr Watt said that as far as his information went the outbreak seemed to be epidemic, but not "the" • epidemic.
The chairman of the Board of Health states that the tests are incomplete, but that there is reason to hope that it is a virulent form of local influenza, and not caused by a foreign germ.
