For some time the New Zealand Fruitgrowers' Federation has 'been recommending that an expert should bo sent to America to observe methods ci" packing and marketing fruit and obtain any information helpful to the industry generally. Tho Minister of Agriculture said to-day that a well-qualified officer of the Horticultural Division would visit America for that purpose. It was expected that this investigation - tfouJj}. prove vei-y beneficial to the fruit industry.,
