Messrs Burhidge and Sou report a,* follows on the Wellington fruit anJ prtxluce markot • — Prices for fruit continue good, especially for dessert varieties. Green peas have fallen in value since Christmas. Eggs also have a weak markst. Tomatoes are firmer to-day. Prices :— Peaches: Good 8s to 12s, small 7s to 8s 6d. x ■ Apricots: Large 13s to 15s 6d, small 10s to 12s. J Tomatoes: Firm 23s to 265, others 18s to 21s. ' Cherry plums 6s to Bs. Plums: Black 10s to 13s. Black currants 8s 6d to 10s 6d. Apples: Cooking 5s to 6s 6d, dessert 7s to 8s 6d. Pears 8s to 10s 6d, al ihalf-cases ILggs Is 8d to Is 9d per dozen. Fowls 6s to 10s,,ducks 9s to 12.$ ptr pair, chickens Is Id per lb. We have good inquiry for raspberries at high prices.
