ANNUAL MEETING

Bensemann). < The balance-sheet showed a cash credit balance of £13 165., while the club's ■ subscriptions outstanding totalled £9. The following officers were elected:— Patron. Mr S. Kirkpatrick (rej elected): president, Mr J. H. Finney I (re-olected) ; "ice-oresidents; Messrs T. A. H., Field, M.P., H. L. Fowler, F. H. Richmond, L. B. Bradstock, H. ; Saunders,-W. W. Snodgrass, Dr. Johniston, and Mr H. T. Palmer (re-elected) ; auditor, Mr N. A. Vercoe; secretary I and treasurer, Mr A. Bensemann (re--1 elected1) ; delegate to . New Zealand Cricket Council, Mr C. McCoy (reelected) ; selection committee, Messrs C. H. Broad, L. B. Bradstock and the secretary: fixture committee, Mr Brad- . stock and the secretary. ' Entries for the Senior Championship • were received from Boys' Training ;Farm, College, Kamura. and Bright- | water. j ' Mr Trolove, on belialf of College, asked if it would not 'be possible to secure I another team, as this would give more | matches during the season, and create | greater interest. j Other delegates agreed that it would be better for cricket if there was another team in the competition, especially ;is it Avould enable the Saturdays during the College holidays to be occupied. It was. not considered likely, however, that another team could be obtained, owing to so many cricketers being on active service, but it was decided to leave entries open for a fortnight, also to open the season on October 7 12 th.
