At the Nelaon Harbour Board meetinpg yesterday afternoon Mr H. R. Duncan, tho chairman, expressed profound gratification at the welcome news received that day of the success of the Salonika army," which would have a great effect on the war situation. The surrender of Bulgaria, he said, killed the- Kaiser's Eastern dream and opened the way to important developments in regard to Turkey, Roumania, and Aus tfria-Hupgary. A thanksgiving meeting would be held at the, Church Steps in the evening, which he hoped all members of the board would attend, in order to voice tHeir appreciation of the success of the Salonika army. (Applause.)
