A fata! accident occurred ill tbo Gowan Valley yesterday, a lad named Alexander Skillen, aged 18, being killed by a tree while engaged in bushfellmg. A tree that had been scarfed and left for a drive was unexpectedly forced* back Uphill by & breoze. and caught the unfortunate lad.
