Weß!ingtcn, Oct. 14. The- British Ministry of Information states: —
Our Palestine advance is greatly assisted by the use of coastal ports', But it must be remembered that we are now working S(X) miles away from the main base iv Egypt and 150 miles from the railhead in Palestine, so that the maintenance of big forces is naturally most difficult.
