On Sunday the enemy counter-at-tacked by river and land at Seletskaya,

170 miles from Archangel

Wo beat off the enemy, driving him up the river in the Shenkursk region between the Archangel-Vologda railway and the Dwina river. The enemy are still retiring, followed up by the Russians and Americans.

On the Murmansk front the Allies, operating from Kandalaska, on the "White Sea, 180 miles south of Murmansk, drove the invading patrols across the Finnish-frontier and cleared northern Karelia.
