Tho Serbians on Saturday morning occupied Nish, which the enemy were ordered to defend at all costs.

Tlie Serbians gained a footing on the jhills north of the town.

Severe fighting preceded the capture of Nish, in which the Serbians captured fsix guns. French cavalry farther easb entered Rolapalahka. The Serbians on the Nisb-Pirot road, west of the Mcrawa, have reached Enro'koplie, jMirosina, and Miraraar. The French in Upper Serbia have occupied Prin, Prizrcnd, and Mitrovi'cza. .
