A French Eastern communique says
There was violent righting on Friday' fiouth of Nish between the Serbians1 and the enemy, reinforced by new German
divisions
Counter-attacks by Gorman Alpine corps on the left bank of the Morawa were shattered with heavy enemy
losses
East of the Morawa /the Sorbs .continue 4ko advance in the hills south of Nish.
Since September loth, including the Eleventh German-Bulgarian Army,; ■■which, was surrounded in the 'Hecero t*nd Kelhanbelen Passes and surrendered, the Allies have eaptur-od 90,000 prisoners, including IGOO officers, five generals, two thousand guns, hundreds of machine guns, and immense booty.
