THEFT FROM A MAIL BAG.

The theft of £120 contained "in a mail bag consigned' by" train . from Auckland. Post Oiiice for Huntly- was committed oh Saturday ■ week. The money was.in a special-packet put in the mail bag at the Auckland office, and. the .mail bag.was placed; in a van on the train in the usual way, and delivered at Huntly, where it was discovered that the bag' had been interfered with, and some of the contents, including the money package, abstracted.
