The "Daily Chronicle" states that'tho Turkish peace note has not arrived, though there is reason to believe that the new Government has drafted it.
It is pointed out that the Turkish Government is largely in Germany's power, as tho Goeben and the Black Sea squadron are able tj overawe Constantinople. •
The British Government are willing ho consider only bona fide proposals.
