■ Subject to the approval of tho United States War Department and the official sanction of the higher Masonic bodies of tho country, the entire resources o£ Masonry are to ibe used to assist soldiers and sailors: who have been disabled on the battlefields of Europe, xhis movement was launched at Cleveland, Ohio, on August'!, at a representative and huge meeting of the Craft. The efforts of the fraternity will be devotvd to the assistance of disabled men in botn services during or after vocational training to be given to them by instructors appointed for the purpose by the Government. The plans tentatively agreed xrpon call for the use of Masonic researcn bureaus and hospitals, thus establishing a complete chain of institutions ready to act the moment they are called upon.
