RETURNED SOLDIERS.

When the-twapourika arrived" from Wellington yesterday morning; it wa* found that there were only five returned soldiers on boai% instead of eleven expected. The nawes of the men who came back were:

On the call of the Mayor (Mi- W. W. Snodgrass) the returned, men. were accorded three hearty cheers. Oars for the conveyance of the men to city were provided by the Mayor of Nelson, the Mayor of Richmond (Mr W. E. /Wilkes) Messrs H. M. Field, A. J Glasgow, H. Baigent and Newman Bros.
